How do I meet the driver at the airport? | The driver will be at the arrivals gate with a sign with your name on it. Please look out for him/her. |
How will the driver know what time to get to the airport? | All incoming flights are Monitored for arrival times via screens in our office, we despatch your driver to arrive at the airport at about the same time as your flight lands. |
How long will the driver wait for me? | Up to 90 Minutes after your flight lands. after 90 mins we will make enquiries about you, if we cannot find you, or contact you, we will leave the airport |
What if I fail to meet my driver at the arrivals gate? | Sometimes weather/traffic problems can delay a driver, your first point of contact should always be the AIRPORT INFORMATION booth, give them your name and flight number and ask if there are any messages for you.THIS IS THE ONLY WAY WE HAVE OF CONTACTING YOU AT THE AIRPORT If we know that your driver is delayed we will always leave a message for you and an ETA |
What if there is not a Message left for me? | Then your driver is at the airport terminal waiting for you, the airport arrivals boards always tell us how long it will take you to clear customs, after the given time (usually 30-40 mins) the driver will page you by name, asking you to go to the meeting point, these pages are heard in the terminal building and the customs/baggage hall, please listen out for them. |
What if I still fail to make contact with my driver? | You have two options, 1: Go to airport Information and Page "the driver from IAS meeting (your name) Please go to the meeting Point". or 2: Telephone 0181 289 5694 (this is a LOCAL call from the airports, and should not cost more than 10p) our call centre staff will take your details and transfer your call to the Mobile phone of the driver meeting you. (we pay for the cost of the transfered call) |
What hours are there people at your call centre? | There are no incoming flights between 00:00 and 05:00, however our office is manned from 05:00 to 01:00, if you call when we are not here, your call is forwarded to the cell phone of a night duty driver. |
How long will the journey take? | That really depends on where you are going and what time of day it is. If you are going to central London allow 1-1.5 hrs if you are coming into Heathrow or Stanstead, and 1-2 hrs if you are coming into Gatwick |
Will I have to wear a seatbelt in the car? | Absolutely, Both front and rear seat belts are compulsory here in the UK., if you do not wear one you can be fined for failing to do so by the Police. |
How can I pay? | By Cash, Travellers cheque (sterling), or a Sterling Cheque drawn on a UK bank. sorry we do not take credit cards, this is because we run a low cost service and to take credit cards would mean increasing our prices by up to 15%., We can by prior arrangement invoice a company, please Contact us for further details |
